A release as epic as Pan-Pot's feat. Cari Golden 'Captain My Captain' deserves as much attention as it can get, which has certainly been the case since its release in November last year. Now the crew are back, with an impressive team of remixers on board, so get ready for a storm out at sea again!

First to walk the plank are Booka Shade with their own stadium filling dark and driving take on the original cut. They are followed by Daniel Stefanik who adds more of a rippling and loopy effect to the production, as if you were caught in a maelstrom. Finally, label colleague Rodriguez Jr. presents something perhaps for the calm after the storm, with nice long bass chords and a gentle skip in the beat.

Kicking off our 2022 release schedule in style is Danny Powell with his track Reece's Piece. A unique, hypnotic label debut from the Newcastle based artist blending ethereal vocals with a gritty rhythm and stomping bassline. 

Brothers Craig & Grant Gordon came through on the remix, crafting a perfect groove for the early hours of the morning, their take on the track features spacey synth lines and open shuffling house drums. A statement of things to come this year for the label.

Hot Creations are launching a new ‘Paradise on Earth’ DJ Mix series with the first instalment coming as a Mexico special from Paradise residents and label regulars Nathan Barato and Patrick Topping. Each mix is expertly crafted, fusing musical influences with exclusive new material alongside current favourites for your listening pleasure.

The first CD comes from Toronto-based DJ & producer Nathan Barato, an artist that has been on the rapid rise with releases on Cajual, MOOD, Relief, Saved, Circus Records, Defected and of course Hot Creations. Barato’s mix kickstarts with the sonorous opening of Derrick Carter’s ‘Where You at?’ soon venturing into big dancefloor movers like Moritz Piske ‘Dirt Cabana’ and Makam’s ‘Loletta’. Nathan explains, "This is the first compilation I've done, so I was nervous and excited when building the tracklist. I wasn't inclined to make a mix that was only bombs ...I wanted to express myself and show a different side of my sound.”

UK talent Patrick Topping has cemented his status as one of the most in demand names in dance music and this year completing his third summer as resident at DC10 in Ibiza for Paradise. Here Patrick showcases the sound and style of his sets with hi-energy from the word go. “This was my first time putting together a licensed mix and it was such a fun project. Most the tracks are older but I was also luckily enough to include some of my favourite unreleased tracks of the moment. Thanks to Oli Furness, Jack N Jerk, Sean Miller & Elliot Adamson for letting me use these. There are also 3 brand new productions of mine in here.” - Patrick Topping

Since label head and visionary Jamie Jones began his Paradise night at DC10 in Ibiza five years ago, the night has gone on to be by far one of the biggest on the island, inviting the biggest names in the business to come play alongside his solid crew of talented friends and residents. The launch of the new mix series is a natural progression for the brand as the Hot Creations and Paradise empire continues to grow only stronger.

Diving head first into 2019, we are adamant to continue our pace of never slowing down in our quest to release cutting edge, timeless music and with our first release of the year we turn to one of the most sought after names in todays scene to guarantee it. The one and only Butch graces us with two stellar cuts and both tunes are uniquely crafted cuts that only Butch could make work on the dance floor. 

‘Bepsi’ kicks things off with organic percussion where groove reigns supreme and an ethnic vocal sample provides the lead creating the perfect balance of sincerity and humor only Butch himself could pull off. The second tune; ‘Yallah!!!’ takes cues from the previous but cranks up the pace and infuses indigenous instruments and energetic atmospherics to create a wild ride perfectly suited for any dance floor moment. From 2012 the label Oblack was set up as an exclusive platform of music expression of Los Pastores, Snna and Nacho Arauz. From Valencia -if Ibiza excuses us- this label bets on undergound house produced on a digital platform, and especially vinyl. Up until now, several artists have released on the label: Luke Solomon, Justin Harris, Yaya, Tuccillo, Filsonik, Brett Johnson, Jay Haze, Phil Weeks, Djebali, Italoboyz or Neverdogs, among others. Their releases- with the highligts of 'Other Sentido EP’, ‘Smoke Game EP’ and 'Discover Base EP' -have been played by masters such as Luciano, Richie Hawtin, Apollonia, The Martinez Brothers, Loco Dice, Mirko Loko, Catz N Dogz and Ricardo Villalobos. They have currently have put out 19 releases, and they have signed as producers 11 of those in vinyl. At present, their 'Vinyl Only' project is the one they feel the most excited about, in so far as it brings back the most genuine format for djs, the 12”. In this new division they have released their first album- under the name of ‘Los Pastores with collaborations’- in which they have guests as System2, Javi Bora, Aldo Cadiz, Juliche Hernandez and Hanfry Martinez. 


Moreover, since 2013 their already infamous 'Oblack Label Nights' have taken their very own signature all around Spain. In this parties they have shared the dj booth with artists like Yaya, Tuccillo, Phil Weeks, Arado, Andrew Grant, Tato, Filsonik or Neverdogs, organising also their successful and acclaimed dates in Ibiza venues such as Destino, No Name, Sankeys or City Hall in Barcelona.
