"ГОСТ ЗВУК ou Gost Zvuk @gost-zvuk-records signifie en russe « normes d'états pour le son », une référence ironique au passé soviétique mais également une indication sérieuse de recherche de qualité. Le label basé à Moscou est dédié exclusivement à la scène russe et ex-URSS. Sa mission est de créer une plateforme pour les producteurs locaux afin de mettre en valeur des sons uniques de la région qui s'étend sur le vaste territoires de Saint-Pétersbourg à la Sibérie et au-delà...

Dirigé depuis 2014 par Ildar Zaynetdinov, DJ et producteur sous l'alias low808 et qui co-dirige également la galerie d'art NII à Moscou. Le vaste catalogue de ГОСТ ЗВУК comprend Flaty, Vtgnike, OL, Nocow, Buttechno, qui au cours des dernières années ont acquis une reconnaissance internationale, se sont produits dans des festivals européens et ont releases leurs disques sur des labels renommés à travers le monde - et cela a toujours été l'objectif ultime de ГОСТ ЗВУК.

Les artistes du label sont le visage de la musique électronique contemporaine russe. Le principal critère de sélection étant le langage musical développé, où vous pourriez reconnaître le producteur derrière chaque sortie, les yeux fermés. ГОСТ ЗВУК existe en dehors des limites des genres et des formats - des artistes qui font de la musique de bibliothèque ou ceux qui jouent en live avec leurs groupes instrumentaux; des producteurs de techno assidues et ceux qui sont plus à l'aise de jouer dans les galeries d'art - mais tous unis par la volonté de toujours trouver de nouvelles facettes aux paradigmes sonores habituels..."
