“It Can Be” is one unique long minimal house musical story full of surprising energy.
“It Can Be About A Drug” on side A is a wild ride, not only with a perfect blend of bass and treble but also with a warm variety in glitch, percussion, and drums. The good balance of the texture gives a very pleasant lead in Denis’s vocals.
“Or It Can Be About A Woman” on side B delivers a deeper tone that remains very dynamic and groovy. Lows are clear and chords are free float which guides us in a real dream-like atmosphere. A light touch of madness concludes this incredible musical journey.

Thanks to Denis Kaznacheev’s talent, this release embellishes Minimal in general with rich and dynamic tenderness and it suits perfectly well to dance-floors, without losing its extraordinary musical sensitivity.

DJ, producer, promoter & cultural manager in Chile, born in Temuco, with a career spanning 2 decades evolved from an enthusiastic raver of the mid-90s.  His musical references range from House in Detroit, to minimalism in Frankfurt, to acid in Chicago and Manchester, as well as his roots in jazzy hip hop, and the new wave and British synth popCamilo took his first step in production in 2007 as Dj Sony, and his first teacher and friend & an emblem in Chile; Miguel Tutera (Eukahouse Records), & Later Felipe Venegas (Cadenza - Drumma) gave him the weapons to start the path in both solo projects to take a giant leap with his partners in Spain such as the duo [ØNE + 1], on his tour in Ibiza in 2016 Camilo launched his own vinyl label called W3IRD.LTD

After three years on the road, Castanea Records boss Modbox brings the label back to life in sumptuous fashion here courtesy of the label’s twelfth release. As ever with Castanea, this is a quality-laden affair, and is another release that showcases the Italian imprint’s love for Romanian sounds. </p>

Stepping up for this one is Nu Zau, himself a Romanian and an old acquaintance of the label, returning here with his first release on Castanea since 2015’s awesome Mult Asteptatul EP. Label head Modbox has long proved a deft touch when it comes toA&amp;R, and Nu Zac’s return isn’t just highly anticipated, but is well worth the wait too. Featuring three killer originals, the Night Shift EP speaks volumes of a producer who continues to be revered in minimal techno circles.  </p>

<Besides featuring only Nu Zau (the Romanian producer features three originals here), it also comes primed with a killer remix for Nu Zac’s compatriot, Dubtil, which we've premiered here. Discerning music for educated minds, the Night Shift EP sees all parties put their put forward.
