Perfect Timing kicks things off in a big way with this amazing piece of art created by John Manhard. Melancholy, sensuality, happiness, and passion among many other feelings are felt throughout this incredible EP. Making cues from jazz, old-school hip-hop, breaks and cosmic funk this dynamic 5-track EP conjures up a nostalgia-fueled compilation of transformative early eclectic influences, raising the bar on production from one single artist across multiple different genres of music.  A1 is the emotional-euphoric party jam with the track being called “My life is a walk in the park”.  The A2 “You can only see me after dark” slams a drum and bass track that takes you to the dance floor in the jungle.  Flip the wax for the prime-time classic soul soothing John jazzy house track B1 “I go there to look at the spruce”. On the B2 you will find a soundscapey ambient electro-jazz top vibe “But my name is not Bruce”.  To impeccably close the release, the well done B3 track “I am the scariest man at the park” sends a wave of mystery, that transcends you to a place with a deep nostalgic feeling.

A truly special one for the real heads. A timeless essential for proper lovers of vinyl and good music.

Where to start with this young man. Pük is the epitome of homegrown talent, his work ethic whether it be in his productions or sets is unfathomable.

With backing from Dungeon Meat playing his track “Say what you wanna” at the infamous Shelter nightclub in Amsterdam, his most recent outing for the Hereafter crew, warming up for Aero4DMC & FAE, then with his release on Situation Records “Hey Mr. DJ” we have full confidence that Pük will continue to make marks on the dance music scene for years to come. 

Having numerous aliases under his belt, either with his thumping UKG alter-ego, Joejoemojo, or countless B2B’s with other locals such as Kyle Shea-Minta & Oscar Jones, make sure to catch Pük lighting up a dance floor near you.

Big beats from Yorkshire, A solid mix that sums up matts style perfectly in just over 1 hour .. 

Matt was one of the first bodies on a beatnik hosted dance floor way back in 2018 when we managed to get Tristan Da Cunha to come down to our very first party with a beg and a plea. 

Not only was he the first on the dance floor but he then didn’t part ways with until 3 blurry days later, spent in a jam packed Manchester airbnb where the no party policy was rudely unadhered to. There’s a solid foundation for a friendship. 

Matts part of the collective responsible for bringing The Imaginarium in leeds to life which is nothing sort of an effervescent cauldron of culture, sick heads and wall to wall beats. We need more Matt JLs.
