@film011 a.k.a. Sanil Sudan is a 34 year old New Delhi based DJ, Producer, and curator at the two mainstays for electronic music in the capital. Sudan makes dancefloor-friendly House, Breaks, and IDM under the alias FILM. To celebrate old Detroit techno through leaner productions, Sudan uses the moniker Tyrell Dub Corp. After being selected for Border Movement’s two month residency in Berlin in 2017, FILM shortly made his Boiler Room debut in 2018. FILM’s emotionally complex electronic music is informed by hip-hop, jungle and pop music arrangements to present ebullient sets that have seen him behind the decks at some of the most coveted stages across Europe and South Asia. His 5-track debut EP ‘Miwonowi’ is out now on the @thehammerhits Remmah Records imprint.

Objekt: "Here’s the recording of my set from Dekmantel Selectors festival in Tisno, Croatia, summer 2017.

This was definitely a lucky case of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat and there are endless caveats with this recording – I had a terrible cold; I’d lost my earplugs about an hour earlier and this was the first set I’d played without them in about 6 years; the needles kept jumping (long story but kinda my fault) – but somehow the environment, the energy of the crowd and liberal quantities of vodka sent me flying through 2.5 hours of techno, house, electro, IDM, ghettotech, jungle, DnB and all the way back again. You’ll have to excuse the skipping records but otherwise I hope you enjoy the recording as much as I enjoyed playing."
