The single, “Slow No Wake” is scheduled to be released on Friday, May 20. The song came together during an unexpected pregnancy which shifted and changed the complexity of my romantic relationship. The song deals with the anxious feeling of life passing you by and the pressure of trying and failing to forcefully stop it. It partially interpolates Juvenile “Slow Motion” and the Pixies “I Bleed”, two completely different artists and genres that highlight my ability to develop a soundscape of unique genre-bending music. If there are any other artist out there that have that kind of genre crossover I will give them all the bitcoin I have (which is only like 0.00002).

And near the island I see, a giant graveyard of ships, the island's covered with cliffs 
And at the edge of the peaks they all stand plucking their strings, and there's a glint from their teeth

If all these ships crashed and drowned, their captains cannot be found, what are the odds to succeed? 
It seems to get to the peak, you must have some kind of gift, cause there is no way to climb
But then I found a small beach, the ships around it are big, no one comes here all alone  
Their footprints leading towards a long and treacherous road, it's not so steep but it's long
