Premiere: Amour Noir - Ural Typhoon [UR076]

As the world has to adapt to a new pandemic reality, DJ Nastia is looking for new ways of supporting the music community through exposing fresh and upcoming talents. Nastia’s audiovisual project Scary Beautiful is aimed to not only support new names in the electronic music scene but also holds an objective of discovering our world anew and seeing it from a perspective that is so frightfully enchanting.
Scary Beautiful consisted of five DJ sets in which Nastia played pre-selected unreleased tracks by electronic music producers from all over the world that are now being released as a compilation of five LPs via Nastia’s record label ‘NECHTO’. For some artists, this has been the first shot of making their work heard.
For the first installment, Nastia traveled and played a DJ set at the Morozovsky coal quarry located in Ukraine’s Kirovohrad region. The abandoned coal mine is undoubtedly among the most interesting "stalker" objects of the country, exhibiting a stunning
juxtaposition between coal mining technology of a not so distant past and nature. The first release of the Scary Beautiful series contains high-powered and distinctive techno tracks by music producers from Ukraine, Russia, United Kingdom, India, and Argentina.
