@mr_exagggerator is the host of @resetradio and huge techno enthusiast.
From the UK but now living in Berlin, music has taken him all around the world which is why it will always be in his life, he always trying to give back to the techno community.

In his own words, "This mix is a style of my usual loopy stuff with some techno melodies I love to collect on vinyl, plus a range of different percussive rhythms".

Our guest for this episode is Yax - a techno DJ from Adelaide, Australia drawing influence from the likes of artists such as DVS1, Jeff Mills, and Setaoc Mass.

His style is continuously evolving through extensive digging for deep, groovy, hypnotic, and minimal techno, as he takes inspiration from the 90s and early 00s era, while still adding a modern twist to his sets.

Yax also curates a weekly podcast series called Yax Invites, which began in 2021 with the aim of showcasing talent from around the world with an emphasis on extended techno mixes. Be sure to check it out on his Soundcloud page.

KAWAZAKI is a Berlin-based dj, born and raised in Leipzig where she got inspired early on by the city’s vibrant electronic music scene. Since she moved to Berlin, her love for music and its scene has predictably deepened. As a law student, she’s found her outlet and passion in DJ’ing, while progressively developing her own sound. More recently, she started her own podcast series KAWAZACAST. Her style mainly focuses on driving, groovy techno, and building up her sets with breakbeat, electro and house.

My next guest on Yax Invites is Loose-E, a 25 year old DJ/Producer from Doneraile in Cork, Ireland.

Loose-E likes to keep it fast and groovy with some tribal influences throughout his sets. His love for this type of sound all started with influences coming from the 90s and early 00s Hardgroove/Funk/Tribal Techno, listening to the likes of Dave Angel, Jeff Mills, and Ben Sims.

This mix is a worthy applicant for episode 100 in the series, comprising of an hour and a half of deep and groovy techno with some aggressive drums and percussion, topped off with a few old school classics.

I'd like to thank all of the artists and listeners for the support over the past 100 episodes and I look forward to continuing the series throughout the new year!

Gomorras Liebe für Techno mit einem typischen "Detroit-Twist" geht Hand in Hand mit seiner Leidenschaft für Vinyl und dessen akustische Qualitäten. Schon früh entschied sich er dazu, ausschließlich das schwarze Gold in seinen DJ-Sets zu spielen.
