MALO2K was only 17 years old when he began producing electronic music. He began with hip hop and reggaeton edits that soon spread around the world. Shortly after, he moved on to original music, which received great global recognition. generating great milestones for South American electronic music.MALO2K has been part of the musical avant-garde for years, forging the scene alongside other artists such as Nafftero, CRRDR, ALEROJ, NTFL and Entrañas, in addition to collaborating with labels such as makinmovs, Agva records, MALOCA, International Chrome and NAAFI.

After a great career and touring Latin America with his music, he finally received the much desired national recognition, generating his netlabel and party proposal "Subalterna" that seeks to represent a more personal vision and curatorship. MALO2K has participated in great parties such as Trampa de Sed in Mexico City, ARENA in Rio de Janeiro, Favela Clash and La Chismoteka in Chile. He has played on radio stations such as NTS and Rinse in London, Recreo in CDMX and Function FM in Brazil. He currently runs the label @subalternanet

Benfika nos presenta su más reciente EP, 'Poco Centro', una amalgama sonora que entrelaza los sonidos de la música electrónica global de club contemporánea con la rica diversidad musical de América Latina.

Con "Poco Centro", Benfika demuestra su destreza al fusionar una amplia gama de influencias musicales, desdibujando los límites entre géneros. Cada track es una exploración de texturas y ritmos, con capas de sintetizadores digitales, samples de voces de reggaeton y melodías etéreas que evocan el trance de los años 90, ofreciendo así un enfoque emocional del latin club.

La mitad del EP está diseñada para hacerte bailar,y perderte en la música. La otra mitad te lleva en un viaje introspectivo y emocional. A pesar de estas diferencias, ambas partes comparten un universo sonoro único, gracias al cuidadoso diseño de sonido y la selección diversa de elementos musicales, lo que refleja la noción de una esencia descentralizada. Un universo que explora el concepto de unidad y equidad entre el núcleo y el conjunto.

”| think that talking about neoperreo is talking about the evolution of reggaeton in the 2000s. It is a more inclusive subculture that gives space to dissidence because in the retrograde society of the 2000s we were used to a scene where misogyny in music predominated.

The neo perreo advanced in gender perspective and a new scene emerged offering more space to women and the LGBTQIA+ community, that before we had nowhere to feel comfortable”

In 2019 she released singles on the chilean record label Neo Perreo which is the most important in this genre.

Made in the Buenos Aires club scene, Sassy found more of a personal style fusing reggaeton rhythms with electronic music.

Siento que este mix representa lo que busco como “El Ángel Exterminador” cuando toco solo para mi, entonces invoqué sonidos y a muchos de mis artistes favorites (o) que siento son representatives de esta vena oscura y brutal de la electrónica Latinoamericana a la que me gusta darle espacio en mis sets. 

“Vulcanizadora” está hecho especialmente para Amuleto, que para mi es una de las casas en LATAM que velan por este sonido.
