2009年福島県郡山市より活動を開始。現在は横浜に拠点を移し、国内HARDCORE-MUSICの祭典「HARDGATE」をDJ/スタッフとしてサポートしつつ、自らも兄貴分DJ tcmzと共にハードコアイベント「Terrordome」を開催。また、2020年よりジャンルに囚われないハードさを追求したイベント「MANTLE」を立ち上げ、自らのダンスミュージック観の表現に努める。

Dj/Producer/Artist. Yakudza is a project of Georgian artist, Jacob Surmanidze. He also manages projects : Jacob Hertz and Khidel. Project Yakudza was founded in the end of 2018 year.
Jacob started producing music from 2014. He graduated CES (Creative Education Studio). Also he is a founder of labels: Hertz Record and Loading Code Record. At this time he actively works on all of his 3 projects.

Raised on bands like Depeche Mode, Ministry, Front 242 and Skinny Puppy - Mike knew that when he was in high-school he wanted to be involved in creating dark, electronic music. 

In the late 90s Mike started to DJ at clubs spinning underground parties and events playing tech-house, deep house and trance. Shortly after, Mike started to produce tech-house and dove deep into working on new music and releasing tracks on various internet labels. The artist name he went under at that time was M’Ocean which was put to rest.

After a long hiatus, Mike decided it was time to get back out there and do what he loves to do, which is to bring great underground music to the masses. These days Mike gravitates more towards darker sounds like EBM, hard-techno, goth and industrial. Mike says, “it feels good to dip back more into my roots and continue that dark style.”
