Astolat is a progressive doom metal band which was founded in Linköping, Sweden in 2011. Members EPIALES (guitar, vocals, bass)and A┼┼ASUERUS (drums) draw influences from progressive, doom, black and symphonic metal. The sound is as dark as it is bombastic and acts as a backdrop for lyrics about existential crisis, identity, horror, nightmares and stoic acceptance of the unknown.
