Sunshine music for the masses! Exotic flavours, soulful melodies and party beats, the happy hippo always brings the sunshine no matter what the weather. 

The Hippo has created his own unique party vibe by infusing Latin, Caribbean and Afro styles into his tastefully produced selections of Breaks, House, Drum & Bass and Hiphop. His upbeat taste in music is perfect for outdoor, sunny day raving, but producing and collecting such a range of music also makes him a very versatile act. His sets can be tuned to suit all kinds of events, be it at a festival, classy cocktail bar, student event or full blown rave.

The Hippo is a full time musician, holding residencies at Bristol’s most famous Mr Wolf’s, No.51 and The Full Moon & Attic Bar (recently featured in The Guardian’s 'top 10 best UK clubs chosen by the experts'). His talent for making crowds dance has seen him take on two French Alpine tours, perform at some of the Uk’s best festivals (including Boomtown, Secret Garden Party & WOMAD) and support top artists such as Dub Pistols, Groove Armada, The Cuban Broth- ers, David Rodigan and many more. The hippo’s music was an instant hit with Sir David Rodigan and he has since been a big supporter, airing two of his tracks on his show on BBC Radio 1Xtra.

Artiste aux multiples influences, frangi. résume son style par l’appellation kaleidisco. Il explore toutes les facettes du Disco dans chacune des décennies et aux quatre coins du monde. Ses mixs sont un cocktail unique où il raconte une histoire en fonction du mood de son audience.

Chineur, DJ, mixtape producer, fondateur d’un collectif et d’une communauté…c’est avant tout un passionné dont l’unique objectif est de partager ses émotions en musique.

Depuis 2013, il s’occupe de BPM (Blog des Pépites Musicales) où il poste une pépite par jour sur les réseaux. Sa chaîne est rapidement devenue un collectif qui compte aujourd’hui 6 DJs réunis par l’amour du Groove.

Avant tout une histoire de potes, BPM est né en 2013 lorsque 3 DJs diggent un max de pépites sur SoundCloud. Ils se retrouvent avec une grande collection et décident de partager leur passion. La méthode est simple : une pépite par jour diffusée sur les réseaux sociaux et directement rangée dans des playlists à déguster selon son mood.

C'est aussi un collectif de 6 DJs réunis par l’amour du Groove : frangi., déʞalé, Pamplemousse Rose, Groove Garden, Vibes4YourSoul et Oldchap. Le crew enchaîne des résidences sur la capitale ainsi qu'aux quatre coins de la France et montent un maximum de plateaux Disco House avec d’autres collectifs.

Page SoundCloud référente, BPM partage ses pépites et les productions de son crew mais aussi des guests mixtapes et des Premières pour mettre en visibilité ses artistes préférés.

BPM en chiffres c’est 1 pépite par jour depuis 2013, plus de 11000 followers, 90 guest mixtapes et 7 DJs qui diggent quotidiennement le meilleur de l'électro.

🎹 Electro-Folk, Deep House, Tropical & Chill. 

Behind the stage name “Karlk” hides Charles Perrono. Born in Lorient in the West of France. Mixing world music influences with electronic styles ranging from Electro Chill to Deep House, Karlk found early success releasing music online. His breakout hit “What I Want,” created with the DJ duo Ofenbach, earned him million streams and charted internationally. The track was later featured in a Google advertising campaign or even playlisted on the International Space Station, further elevating Karlk's profile.

A self-taught composer and producer, Karlk was introduced to music at the age of seven. Turning his back on “too academic” music theory lessons, he taught himself to play several instruments, including guitar, drums and piano.

Multi-instrumentalist, he began to compose on Ableton Live, pieces mixing world and electronic music, from Chill to Electro Pop, via Deep House. He enjoyed dazzling success on the web and reached million streams, which made it possible to sign on labels such as Universal Music, PIAS or Times Records. He performs in important festivals in Europe such as Lakedance or Transmusicales.

In 2017, he released his debut album, Crossroads, which included two global hits: “Daydreamer” and “Jeff.” Though Karlk has begun composing for film, TV, and video games in recent years, he is preparing to release his second album “Silent Echoes” in 2024.   

Throughout his career, Karlk has fused diverse musical influences with modern production techniques to create an eclectic but cohesive discography. His self-taught approach and persistent experimentation have paved the way for his evolution from bedroom producer to international star.
