MIX DA WAVES volume 1 is the first electronic multigenre compilation by Octopus Productions/HVR.

It's a musical and artistic experiment where more than 10 artists with their respective crews joined giving an original track produced by themselves.

MIX DA WAVES volume 1 gathers most of the Torino underground electronic musical scene in a single opera, mixing up sounds and grooves from acid techno to drum'n'bass, passing by dubstep and house music.

All tracks are released by Octopus Productions/HVR under a Creative Commons License - Attribution - Non commecial - No derivate works 3.0 Italy

La techno il loro scopo, il vinile il mezzo di propaganda. Crew 100% torinese, la cui ricchezza risiede in due giradischi, un mixer e le abili mani dei loro dj. Presenti da un anno sulla scena cittadina, i loro battiti in 4/4 regalano al loro sound un aspetto cupo e deciso che esalta lo spirito ribelle di questa musica ma soprattutto, di questa città.
Obverse abbraccia diversi panorami della musica techno senza mai cadere nello scontato e nel convenzionale: dalle sonorità dub e ambient più avvolgenti alla techno di matrice industriale più travolgente.
