Over his short but glittering career so far, Claptone has delivered no less than four summer anthems to soundtrack Ibiza and the festival season. Starting with ‘Cream’ back in 2012, the now legendary ‘No Eyes’, THAT remix of Gregory Porter and last summer’s runaway Golden Summer theme 'In The City', he has always sprinkled sunshine into our lives to help drive the winter blues away. 

This trend continues unabated with the unveiling of the infectious and hypnotic groove ‘The Drums (Din Daa Daa) Ft George Kranz’, an onomatopoeic voodoo spell road tested over the last months around the world on the masked man's constant club orbit. Claptone took inspiration from the post-punk melting pot of early 80’s NYC when he connected with the pioneering George Kranz who originally made the drums dance over 30 years ago. 

The result is a meeting of minds and rhythms, pure gold in the hands of headline DJs. Released in time to find its wings during Miami Music Week, Claptone casts the first rays of light upon you in order to conjure a long hot summer for all of us.

‘High Maintenance’ is a song that captures the dynamic between habitual impulses and mindful thought process - the eternal inner conflict that controls our movements and actions. The concept is manifested in a mesmerising video that sees black magnetic sand and a Japanese dancer (Takanori Kawaharada) reacting in a way that conveys the two conflicting energy forces. Despite its otherworldly appearance, the effect on screen (shot by Matan Balalty) is completely natural, analog and organic – symbolizing an important essence that runs through all of Noam’s productions. To achieve this, they experimented with powerful speakers and rare earth magnets, capturing the visual display of the pulses being sent through sand and how they translate into kinetic rhythms, shapes and textures.

Ed The Dog releases his first single Funny Turns from debut album ‘Shame’ via ALLONEWORD and Interstellar Music Group.

Combining the British cynicism of Blur and the dynamic power pop of Weezer, Funny Turns is an insight into the author’s perpetual growing pains and pursuit of the road less travelled. Dirty and homebrewed, it’s as uplifting and infectious as existential anxiety gets.

After the break-up of his previous band Fish Tank, quitting his day job as an admin assistant, and the subsequent quarter life crisis, Ed Wetenhall retreated into his attic and began writing…

With the few broken and battered instruments available, he used his crippling fears, dry wit, and tentative optimism to write and record an LP. The result of this self- imposed exile and reflection is his debut album ‘Shame’, a hook filled, lo-fi exploration into adulthood, anxiety and what it means to be a hopeless romantic in 2018.

All written, performed, recorded, and mixed by Ed himself. Slated for release this summer.
