He is a great lover of broken rhythms and doesn’t just focus on DRUM AND BASS, often mixing BREAKBEAT, from the most melodic to the most badass, with his fast and fun mixes.

Chabunk is Gareth from Cape Town, who has been producing Psy Trance since 2004. Currently with Solar Tech Records in Germany, he is also a resident artist for Groovy Troopers.

Chabunk has played at many of the top local & international festivals such as Psychedelic Experience, Origin Festival, Vortex, Groovy Troopers, Earthdance, Alien Safari, Intact Expanda & NYE Rezonance as well as many of the popular indoor events such as Labyrinth, Rhino Room, Psynopticz & many more.

His sound is best described as "Psygressive" but always ensuring the tracks keep the psycadelic nature. His love for Electronic music is great, and is constantly striving towards uplifting new sounds, that sometimes crosses over the barrier to other genre's of electronic music.

Over the past few years Gareth has released a number of tracks over various V/A compilations, including several EP's and his upcoming debut album, "Music should be felt not heard"
