Maharetta Records presents Italian-born label DJ KIMIK YIU.

Kimik Yiu otherwise known as Yuri Merenda was born In Pisa in 1989, and began his long journey Into electronic music with his love for Minimal Techno, this was where he originally honed his beatmatching skills on Vinyl.
Inevitably this led him to discover many other forms of electronic music, and of course, the world of Djing. Like many, after much research and different musical ventures, he finally found Psychedelic Trance. Never looking back and taking with him Inspiration from previous musical experiences. This diverse background then paved the way for his life and career as a Dj.
It’s Infectious groove, and undeniably addictive sound mesmerized Yuri, something he felt, had always been missing from other genre’s.

Shortly after his discovery, he Immediatly began organizing several small parties around the area of Turin, and In 2012 met Ale Nukleall, the label manager at Blacklight Records, where he stayed for 3 years.
A major turning point for Yuri’s career, This then gave him the opportunity to play at many International festivals, Including. Future Nature, Human Evolution and Own Spirit.

In 2015 he was picked up by Maharetta Records, a label founded In spain Co-run by Zac Lee and Juan Fontorira Moyer, where he continues to push and develop himself as an artist within their roster.

On this all-new edition of Japanese label Grasshopper Records‘ series we can meet DJ Mario’s project HOVERCRAFT.

Dj Mario`s project Hovercraft brings to the dancefloor the concepts of an pandimensional travel beyond time and space. With strong bass lines and futuristic alien atmospheres Hovercraft music leads to an journey between light and darkness, from twilight to deep serious grooves in an blend from vintage to futuristic sounds with a touch of acid melodies and powerfull glitches, witch creates the peculiar post-modern point of view of Hovercraft music. Since Dj Mario joined Grasshopper Records in 2013 he has been in an intence process of creation and experimentation in his studios trying to put on the tracks all the musical madness he absorved on his extensive and solid carrer as an label Dj in the most high level Festivals and Partys arround Japan. This is an endless process of self-evolution and creation so many more can be expected from Hovercraft music in the future.

We present Scottish psy representative QUADRANT of Maharetta Records, with a short talk followed by his mix showcasing the soundscapes from and around Planet Gallovidia.

Quadrant is the solo Psychedelic Trance project of Edinburgh based DJ/Producer Ali Mudie. Originally formed in 2015 with Jon Townshend, Ali has since taken the project on by himself and released his Debut EP “Planet Gallovidia” in july 2017 on Maharetta Records. With releases on well-respected labels such as Purple Hexagon records, Woodog recordings , Forestdelic records and Bom Shanka Music, His live set has been performed across European cities & festivals with a great reception. He has had a number of collaborative projects & remixes on the go with artists such as Fagin’s Reject, Asimilon, Gaspard & Released a track with Chris Rich on his debut album “quantum soup”.

OXY. is Maë's psytechno project, hailing from the south of France. In 2015, she immersed herself in the world of psytrance after years of listening to techno. She began DJing worldwide and started producing music in the background.

In 2017, she co-founded her label, ChronoZone Records, and joined Pointzero Records and Techgnosis Records in 2023.

In 2024, she released her first track, joined Volkane Records, and play her first live set.
