J.Clave is a DJ, Music producer, and percussionist based out of New York. He was raised listening to Salsa, Merengue, and Bomba Y Plena. His music combines African and Latin rhythms with experimental synths creating an elevated experience.

Some people may say, "The name has nothing to do with the song" I on the other hand see myself as a kid in these days with my guitar next to me and myself  playing with the slinky trying to figure out a shreddin guitar instrumental with drums and all!  

It's like trying to figure out the latest cheat for Mortal Kombat or trying to match the color cube.  It all means the same except, the slinky could cut you if u miss use it! :P
