Annabelle Goodwill's Rock Anthem is strategically used in this song to symbolize Aniyah stepping out of her innocence into divine wrath. Jasper Duskfiel is singing this song, Aniyah is finally realizing she cannot be nice always.

She sheds her skin and steps into the real world, utilizing her unfiltered anger she never wanted to show.

Aniyah is choosing, herself, to shed blood (more like destroy a city. She doesn't kill anyone.) This is done for others to realize they were wrong. Aniyah takes theology seriously, she's a scholar. This means that she understands how people should be, the law of life, and the basis of reality.

She's been merciful for too long. This song is a demonstration of what happens when the innocent lamb becomes the lion, you know?
