Planet Rock Graphics and 210 Presents the first part of the Side 2 Side Mixtape series..So what is the Side 2 Side project? We had this idea of releasing our own mixtape for a while now. In our minds every mixtape has unique individual design and each mixtape was created by different Djs or Dj duos...So to make it happen we have our first collaboration with Donnie Propa from the Heavy Links crew.

So here it is Side 2 Side Mixtape Volume 1. including 19 smashing tracks from the 90's Boom Bap golden era selected by Donnie Propa..With the mixtape series we wanted to say a huge Thank you to our existing and future customers and we have been trying to find the easiest way for you guys to download them free of charge.
All you need to do is to give a good old slap to the download button and enjoy the tracks in a few seconds from your very own computer...

First street-single from MC Eiht's forthcoming new solo album, Which Way Iz West, which is executive produced by DJ Premier & MC Eiht and will be released in a joint venture with DJ Premier's Year Round Records and MC Eiht's Blue Stamp Records.

DJ Premier stated to XXL "Runn The Blocc" was originally done as a freestyle joint 2 years ago over the same track as Black Moon's "Who Got The Props". I'm a huge fan of Young MayLAy from the west coast and he can spit.  So when we finished mixing the album, I wanted to keep the lyrics and put a brand new beat to it so that it sounded like a whole new song."

MC Eiht chimed in to XXL with his own comments "When I originally got the beat from Brenk (Sinatra), rather then do something that glorified hustling, I wanted to drop something more along the story-line of how it’s so stressful in the streets.  Then Premier sent MayLAy and I a beat and it just fit my vision of how the game used to be perfectly; knowing hustling is still a necessary evil and having to deal with everything that comes with it.  Preemo heard the final product and said it needed to be on the album; so now its official."

Ringing in the New Year, Maryland MC Substantial teams with Mello Music Group producer and fellow DMV native Oddisee for the first official single off Substantial's upcoming album, The Past Is Always Present In The Future. Made In Maryland is Substantial's greatest ode to his home state since his debut solo single in 2000, Home Sweet Home, produced by the late japanese producer DJ Deckstream. The new single also features fellow Marylanders and frequent collaborators: vocalist, Steph the Sapphic Songstress and DJ Jav adding cuts utilizing vocals Joe.D.
