Ocelot: (n.) An endangered leopard-like cat native to the Americas with a tawny yellow coat, identified by its black blotches and spots. Ocelot is an ongoing project of collaborative improvisation and repetition by musician Brian Hullihen, established at the time of its conception. Paralleling the spiraling rings of an ocelot's coat, Ocelot manipulates pre-recorded inspirations to carry one loop to the next, creating a meditative atmosphere between the audience and the artist. Thus, collectively making the endangered species list.
