We proudly present the fundraiser compilation for Musicians defend Ukraine foundation.

Through an open call 68 tracks from 57 artists, created in 2024, were selected to capture the soundscape of the year.

100% of the Bandcamp sales will be transferred directly to the foundation.

After the success of the last two fundraiser compilations ‘24.2.23‘ and ‘24.2.24‘ - where over 1.400 USD were raised, we decided to continue the series and release the third compilation as the russian war against Ukraine is still here and our friends and musicians fighting against the russian invasion on the frontline every day need all the help we can provide.

This selection reflects a rich variety of genres, from ambient and subtile field recordings to witch house and techno. Instrumental music filled with vocals also finds its place in this selection.

Works by musicians from Ukraine and around the world can be heard.

on Friday the 13th, we will share the thirteenth mix in our collection. It was recorded for us by Volchok resident and Kurs radio show participant "Demons of Sadness."

Sem Smirnov is a Moscow DJ who represents genres such as EBM, new beat, techno, and cold wave. He is also known as a skateboarder and snowboarder. For the last two seasons, he performed on the skate stage at the Outline Festival.

the artist provided a brief statement that reflects his style:

"In this mix, I want to convey the energy of dance with a touch of darkness.
Enjoy listening!"

Floating Along

In spirit this picks up my solo electronic synthesis roots, where my first album “Moving Pictures” left off. This is where I started and in my heart I have never really left! 

All music performed live or live with overdub on an Elta Music Solar 42N and a Windows11 minibook. Music was rehearsed and each track was recorded as a single take other than any overdubs. Pieces performed full length; the fades are part of the live performances.

The Chuwi minibook runs a single instance of Native Instruments Kontakt for manually triggered clips created for the performances, and for additional percussion using Sonuscore’s Fragments. The output runs directly into the Solar for processing, with the main output coming from the Solar.
