Between writing and working on commissions, I've been chipping away at this slowly. Even though this song won't play until book 2, it's been on my mind while I work on the first one. This song is a bit of a medley, and has bits of Verse's theme, a bit of Transformation, and a bit of the Sea Goddess' Temple theme in it!

 I'm still not 100% sure on how I feel about it, considering the night theme is meant to stretch across three eras of the story, but I've got a while to think about it.

I actually like this one a lot better, too, but as with most tracks on Capel albums, there'll be multiple versions of this one anyway. :V  I'm slowly but surely chipping away at The Bad Friend (my next album) along with the next Capel album (where this song and its partner will live!) I'll be working more on those after I finish up the book-related projects.

This one has to do with more thoughtful, pensive moments for the characters -- specifically Capel, the main character. Capel barely even understands how people work, and yet she desperately wants to live among them. Every step forward is two steps back. Sometimes, she isn't even sure it's worth it to keep trying.

Mostly done using the Korg Wavestation. I started out trying to decipher the patterns one of the presets had, and ended up reproducing the sounds manually instead. From there, the rest of the song formed. :V

So as you may have gathered, I'm working on a new HardSpeed (Capelspace) album alongside the next Elancia album/book. This one's going to be very, very large. Not quite Elancia large, but large! 
Anyway here's my third take on the Engineering Department theme I've been redoing since like, 2016. I still feel the horn melody during the chorus is the catchiest thing I'll ever write. Enjoy!
