Currently based in the border city of Tijuana Mexico, Abraham Blond grew up with regional Mexican music; but he was seduced by the variants of electronic music and the impulse of digital production. Since the end of 2006 he delved into the appreciation of the underground sound, to later bet on the low-mid tempo and the construction of his music from elements of house, minimal, subtle percussion arrangements and hypnotic basses. During 2019 he collaborated in Factory Radio (Buenos Aires) with a monthly broadcast, promoting through this platform the music of emerging artists in Latin  America. Under nicknames like Gus Cerato or Los Rubio, he positioned his music on different labels, proposing different variants of his work, but without losing the core of his style.

"Macaj" representa o lado artístico minimalista de Marco Castro. Marco, desde sempre, aprofundou-se em pesquisas que passeiam entre os gêneros: Minimal/Microhouse/Deep Tech/Dub e assim, criou a Kematiky, núcleo que predominantemente produzia eventos voltados à essas vertentes. Há alguns anos, utilizando o nome "Marco Castro" ele vem renovando suas referências e fazendo performances diferentes de antes, que baseiam-se em: House/Electro/Progressive House/Breaks, e com isso, sentiu a necessidade de definir melhor essas duas personalidades, por se tratarem de estruturas diferentes: uma mais introspectiva e outra mais aberta. Dentro dessa nova proposta, Macaj deixa fluir um lado mais mental, um som que exige mais atenção aos detalhes, abusando das variações em graves, mixagens mais lentas, storytelling e também, menos vocais. Nesse set, é demonstrado um pouco do que estamos falando.
