So there we are. Teenage years are over, the wild times are still ahead, though. Keinemusik turns twenty – all hands in the air! In celebration of this biographical moment of glory the whole crew is circling up in brotherly and sisterly embrace. Make an high-angle shot, what does it look like? Like a ring of course. So therefore youʼll find the signet ring on this picture discʼs A-side.

The flip is tagged with what this symbol of companionship is leaving, once itʼs used properly. So thereʼs a signed and sealed big up to everyone who has supported keinemusik so far. No. 20 prettied itself up a bit and commends itself as a nice little collectorʼs item. Still as a decent spinning item as well, containing these pumping features:

On A1 (aka the ring side) David Mayer opens up with “Machinedrum Calypso”, a relentless Tech-monster with classy percussive decoration, lurking single notes, malicious synths and a roller coaster ride of breaks and full tilt. Perfect opener!

Next in line is “Think”, falling out of &MEʼs never failing machines. Initially, the kick tends to hide behind some cryptically cut vocal-scraps, but once itʼs grooving at full level, thereʼll be no dry corner left on the floor. Add some sub-bassy guts massage and some highly effective break-stuffing and you have a picture of this guyʼs current sure shot.

The seal side contains another surprising new Adam Port-cut. “Burana” starts out as a funked out, crackling Disco-beat-skeleton, incorporates a tongue in cheek bassline and some offset hi-hats and once in a while is raising up to cloud nine of synth-paradise. Devoid of any vocal trace there is a potential secret favourite grooving from second row.

Rampa is aiming for an unlike feisty spot landing for the grand finale. His “AY” offers microscopic fiddling on his percussive tribal rataplan and some decent feverish shaman dance. As a counterpart, he inserts an übercool bass into the background and if needed, an übercool bass into the foreground as well. One glimpse should show that ʻpeaktimeʼ is written all over this bitch.

Nobody can deny the fact that Vilnius in Lithuania is currently a very creative and agile place. First and foremost Mario Basanov of course, whose Ten Walls moniker swept the board last year and whose hype seems to have only just started.

His popularity was heightened by the start of his own label Boso. It took off with the highly praised "Walking With Elephants", which was already one of the biggest tunes of this summer, before it even came out.

The second release is by Few Nolder, another highly talented native from Vilnius, who showed frst signs of life on Connaisseur with his lovely tune "Space Espace" on our last edition of Livingroom Techno as well as with his remix for "Canto D'Amore" by Marco Effe & Francesco Carone. "Clouds" is the name of his Boso release, and it looks to be the next big thing for this young label.

For his frst own release on Connaisseur he delivered "IF".The fact that it is different from his other output is why we have decided to present this tune in two versions as a 10" vinyl-only single.

The original is a summerish and catchy house cut with a bouncy bassline and a slightly UK-approach.This tune makes you move without there being much you can do about it.
The alt version goes deeper, building up with a question/answer theme until a strong, driving piano element joins to complete the track. Lovers of older Pokerflat releases will truly enjoy this version.

We really believe in Few Nolder, which is why we can already announce another release, which is planned for autumn.

With my Rhythm Control mix I wanted to explore a slightly different sound than what people know me for in clubs, and create something that sounds timeless. I've drawn inspiration from different places in time and different styles, and I saw this as a way for me to collect into one place all of those more eclectic influences that continue to inspire me. Most of all this is a mix of slow jams and indie rock to bring some heat in on those cold cold winter nights.

Since Stefano Noferini's debut release on Monika Kruse's label Terminal M Records in the beginning of 2015 he released some more of his hi quality clubtunes on his own label Deeperfect, Toolroom Trax and Stereo Productions. For these three new tracks he teamed up with Metodi Hristov from Sofia, Bulgaria's capital who's releases and remixes on Rejected, Time Has Changed and Noir Music were always sure chart toppers. Curious to see which one of the three tracks will make it too.

One year on since the first installment, the mighty Hot Creations turn up the heat as they get set to unleash ‘Hot Summer Jams 2’, featuring eight exclusive tracks from familiar faces and blossoming new talents.

The first half of the v/a welcomes back some favourite artists with the first track coming from label head and main man himself Jamie Jones, hot off the heels of some far reaching releases as Hot Natured and solo anthems. He delivers the storming future anthem, ‘Danger Mouse’. Next up Suara boss Coyu delivers ‘The Cat’ featuring the stunning vocals of Cari Golden. Renowned German DJ and producer ​Boris Brejcha has unveiled his hotly anticipated new album ​Space Diver,​ out​ 24th January​ via ​Ultra Music​.
SpaceDiveri​sanemotionally-charged,ten-trackjourney,with​Brejchamasterfully guiding the listener through an array of terrain. No fewer than three tracks from the LP have already been released as singles: there’s the hypnotic, recently released
   
‘Lieblingsmensch’​, trance-inflicted ​‘Never Look Back’ and melodic techno roller ‘Gravity’​, which features the vocals of Berlin-based singer-songwriter ​Laura Korinth​. Things are then closed out with ​‘To The Moon And Back’​, an expertly-crafted slice of what Brejcha refers to as ​‘High-Tech Minimal’​, with the album finding that sweet spot between energetic club cuts and relaxed home listening.

Techno is a family affair.

Arriving onto the electronic scene with "I Believe", featured on the monumental (10 Records) compilation "Techno 2: The Next Generation" (alongside Carl Craig, Marc Kinchen, and Jay Denham) in 1990, Octave One is the brainchild of the phenomenal native sons of Detroit, MI (USA), the Burden Brothers. The core unit of the band, made up of Lenny and Lawrence Burden (with revolving members of Lynell, Lorne, and Lance Burden), have had the privilege of bringing their high energy live shows to many parts of the world, including Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, UK, and the USA, among many other places.

The brothers have released groundbreaking dance anthems on their own Detroit based record label, 430 West Records. Including DJ Rolando's "Jaguar", Random Noise Generation's "Falling in Dub" (the other Burden brother moniker), Aux 88's "My A.U.X. Mind" (on the 430 West sister label Direct Beat), as well as their own Octave One recordings: "Empower", "Nicolette", 'The X-files", "Meridian", “Love and Hate”, “The Greater Good”, and 'Siege".
