Rage has been a staple in the online beat scene for years. Originally coming up through soundcloud beat communities, he garnered attention for his signature bounce and simple yet impactful melodies. His debut heds single titled "be there", captures his classic sound combining ethereal harmonic chops with classic Rage bounce. Here's a quote from him about the song.

It's fitting for this song to be released as a hedSOLO considering It was originally made as a submission for Ramzoid's hedsTAPE.  I was playing around with the sample, threw it in a sampler and chopped it up.  The inspiration was there.  I found some vocal chops that fit perfectly and the idea was finished quickly, but when I went back to submit I saw the window had closed.  Fuck.  Over the next couple months I would open the project up and work on it from time to time, get high, listen to the mix, think it was trash and that the idea wasn't good enough to finish, but I powered through.  After a lot of trial and error and many different versions I acheived the balance I was looking for.   I love this song, it’s one of my favorite pieces I've made in a long time.
