Yes yes we're back with our third instalment of the AAA mix series... and taking over the airwaves this time is Oxfordshire based father & daughter dynamic dnb super-duo: DJ Magnum & TKD Gal! 

Both together and individually these two selectas have been killing ittttt. DJ Magnum has been heavily involved with the scene for many years, both as a solo artist and as part of the legendary True F'RMS collective. His love for DnB clearly runs in the family now his 12 year old daughter, TKD Gal, has caught the DJ bug! With such sick blends at such a young age, the only way is up for this talented young musician!

Repping bloc2bloc and Run Come Events, she’s been making her name known across the scene with her unique blends of jungle and drum & bass with old school pianos. Word on the street she’s been honing down on her productions and song writing so more Solaris riddims are pending, watch this space 👀 

Today she joins us on the AAA mix series and has prepared a wicked mix of her signature sounds. Whether you’re travelling to a festival right now or on a chilled one this weekend, this is the perrrrfect soundtrack.

AAA Mix Series - Solaris

Having blown onto the circuit in 2019, Morgs has been solidifying a reputation for being one of the finest DnB selectors in the South West. His position on the circuit has been further cemented by his work managing and promoting Hijacked Festival and Fokus in Exeter, supporting huge names for both brands and for the other major brands in the city such as Hazard, Enei, 1991, TC, Urbandawn, IMANU, Coco Bryce, Sammy Virji, Phibes and many others. He has recently taken on the record label side of South West Riddim, looking to bring through talented young producers in the region.

Usually renown for high energy, genre bending sets, his selection typically draws from all corners of jungle DnB music; from eastern European neurofunk to dancefloor driven jumpup. For this mix, Morgs has tapped into his deeper, more musically driven side with an hour of effortlessly melodic liquid infused with some tasty pseudo-jungle cuts. Having joined Hybrid Minds and Culture Shock on the main stage at Hijacked, and soon to support Break at the Symmetry Recordings night in Move, we’re very excited to have Morgs join us for our launch night on the 9th November.
