K-Retrograde Motion

This is a cover song written by Lolly Vegas of Redbone. Redbone was a native american rock band. It was a big hit in 1974 and again in 2013 as one of many songs in the outstanding soundtrack for the film "Gaudians Of The Galaxy". I recorded the song with Charlie singing as a birthday present for my wife's niece's son Lucca several years ago. When my wife's sister and her kids were visiting us that year we all decided to go down to my studio and I recorded them singing backing vocals to the song and then we decided to video tape us all lip-syncing to the recorded track. I then later video taped Charlie lip-syncing to the song too. My wife then put all the video tapes together with added commentary before and after the video for Lucca.

 I decided to make a video of the song for YouTube without the personnal coimmentaries. So this video has the following line up: Charlie singing lead and playing the cowbell; Me playing guitar in the stenson hat; my awesome brother playing Bass in the Colombian hat; My wife and her sister Nora and her kids Gabby and Pablo singing back-up. We were all lip-syncing to my recorded track. I think it needs more cowbell, what do you guys think?😂 It was a fun sessions and I thought everyone would get a kick of watching us on the video. My wife video taped my parts and I video taped Charlie and them singing. This is my gift to all my followers so you can see what we look like! Charlie and I are not really much to look at either but we are who we are!😂 I hope you guys like it! It's a great song! (*Easter Egg: That's really me on the Bass! J’ai écrit I Feel Changed en août 2023, avec l’idée que, malgré nos 13 années ensemble, je n’avais encore jamais dédié de chanson à ma compagne. C’était une période paisible, où tout semblait enfin aligné, comme une accalmie dans le tourbillon de la vie. Un moment parfait pour regarder en arrière, faire une petite introspection, et simplement lui dire merci d’être à mes côtés.

I wrote I Feel Changed in August 2023, realizing that after 13 years together, I had never actually written a song for my partner. It was a peaceful time in my life, when everything seemed aligned, a calm in the usual whirlwind of everyday life. The perfect moment to look inward, reflect, and simply say thank you to the woman I love for being by my side.
