Jakare, comprising of Italian duo Lo.Renzo & Halfred, continue to deepen their downtempo world fusion offering to the global dance scene. “Chrysalis” presents 4 tracks including various collaborations that span a wide range of emotions and energies while remaining true to the euphoric, energizing Jakare sound throughout. The chrysalis is a symbol of transformation, of the passage into new phases of existence after periods of crisis. The caterpillar must go through a phase of helplessness and disintegration in order to reborn in its most majestic form. The creation of this collection of music is the manifestation of a need to deepen the connection to the inner self through these challenging last years. So, here's my set from the Chillout Gardens at #Boomfestival 2016. So exciting to play there for the first time, a beautiful and crazy experience..!  This was a 12:00 - 14:00 set in the crazy sunshine (shaded..) for some context.. :) Also, in the interests of openness, this is a backup of my set, as I couldn't record the actual set, due to technical issues (and even had to rely on this backup at times). Still, it all come out OK and we shared a magical 2 hours....!! I hope you can find some of that magic here... X
