From passion and friendship was born @nouveaufutur
@neurotiker and @betty-b-69  are passionate about music, and their influences come from the 80’s.
Night owls, as they both describe themselves best. Their similar interest in music led them to collaborate by founding Nouveau Futur. Despite the distance that separates them as Neurotiker is based in Rio de Janeiro in, Brazil and Betty in Lyon in, France.

DJ since 1999, Neurotiker has developed his own style of music production, that ranges from techno to disco always with a retro feel to his music. He produced music since 2010 on labels such as Ritmo Fatale, Mélopée Records, Weirdos Records, Ulla Records, Polari Records...
He’s also founding his own label, OGIO Records.

Betty worked in the night life from the end of the 80's until 2005 in the trendiest clubs and bars of Lyon, as barmaid, party organizer, or bar manager. In 1995, she moved behind the decks and learnt to mix on vinyl. Even after leaving the night life, she returned to mixing utilizing the new
technological tools. She delivers club-oriented dance mixes tinged with indiedance and dark disco, while adding some new wave.

In the clandestine chambers of Kafka Tempo, @Aka_Nina revealed 'Minimal Problems‘, an EP reflecting the unsettling heartbeat of the world. Delicate dissonance wove through her creation, each note a kafkaesque trial. Release day dawned as an absurd ritual.

Breger's reinterpretation blurred boundaries, morphing reality into a spectral remix. As the EP echoed through the urban sprawl, the enigmatic shadow of Kafka Tempo lingered and Aka Nina found herself lost in the disquieting dance of her own creation.

Following a recent killer release on Drumcode, Dutch-Chilean techno producer Ramon Tapia returns to his own imprint, Say What?, with the ‘Last Step’.

The three-tracker features two originals and a Nicolas Taboada remix — all tunes are soaked in Tapia’s trademark dancefloor-ready sound.

The title track opens the release  and sets the mood just right with its powerful kickdrums, dark synths and hypnotising percussions. Up next, ‘Plastik’ picks things where ‘Last Step’ left off to enchant us with its deep sound, rich atmospheres and angelic vocals. Last but not least, the Nicolas Taboada remix gives ‘Plastik’ a darker twist, making it the perfect peak-time dancefloor weapon.  

Ramon Tapia will release Last Step via Say What? on December 6.

»Taniacid« is a Neo Italo track with some spices of acid that will make you feel like driving in „Super Pursuit Mode“.
»Trust doesn’t rust« is more or likely an Italo Disco song, hard to say when it has been created. Not even Italo Brutalo himself knows it. 
»Knightmares« – the name says it all. The psychedelic track contains just two elements. Less is more. An absolutely secret weapon on the dancefloor. 
»Not a drop to drink« has originally been written on a very hot summer day in the mountains of Ibiza, what you might not expect due to its dark atmosphere with elements of old school electro music.
