Sam’s EP boot’s off with ‘Chocolate’, a track that builds and builds using detuned synths, stabs and funky drums to make any dance floor erupt. ‘Domino’ is a track that’s bassline drones underneath its own distinctive synth line to keep the drums rolling along steadily. The title track ‘Black Leather’ is everything you would expect in a Drumcode record; a subtle throbbing bass line which, keeps the track moving before the synth stabs enrapture the track and twist it into a dark, throbbing composition. The final track ‘Daegon’ uses dubbed out drums to incorporate a synth melody line that will blow your socks off and rounds off this well shaped EP.

The high voltage ‘Electricity’ kicks things off with the sensational voice of Anabel Englund leading the way. The deep, slow grooves ride effortlessly through the track with a breath-taking break down filled with electric bolts and melodic synth keys.

‘Goodnight Moon’ is the second on offer from Lee and Marc and boasts a heavy bass, beautiful synths patterns and infectious groove. The atmosphere in the track is filled with layers of intricate percussions and luscious melodies, while the interesting vocals make this really stand out from the rest.

Over on the B-side Lee takes the reins with ‘Could Be’, effortlessly swarming the mind with soaring synths, soft R n’B style vocals and lo-slung driving bass lines, while the trippy keys are destined to hypnotize you on the dancefloor.

Having enjoyed an outstanding year, Alesso certainly isn’t resting on his laurels as it starts to draw to a close. Having been officially unveiled by Otto Knows on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio1 show as part of the Young Stars of 2012 takeover, ‘Clash’ is set for release on Refune Records imminently.  Moving into darker than his most recent offerings, ‘Clash’ sees him returning to the heavier nature of earlier productions while continuing to push his sound into new territory. The past year was an exciting one for our twins. Filled with extensive

touring after the huge success of their “Everyday” EP.


When travelling the world you make aquaintances. Meeting Digitaria during their

recent Brazil tour was a very fruitful one. There was a big sympathy and a great vibe

resulting in this huge deep disco hammer.


Danielas subtle vocals with a synthetic flavor floats over a fat bassy synthline.

The sweet chord steps bring in the brazilian flavour. Knowing the Adana Twins

you can be sure of a big build up happening leaving the crowds in arm raising,

screaming happieness.
