T⨋₼₱L⨊₡Ą₷৳ #001 - ⨹ND⨹R⨹ ★

For the fourth time in two years time, Hekske (the little witch) and Falke (the 10-year old witch apprentice) flew eastwards, all the way to the mighty Dnipro river. It was early April and the temperatures were very mild and pleasant. Then they saw their friend Mriya (Мрія) waving at them in the middle of a flowery meadow. Mriya was 14 years old now, and she had grown a lot since their last visit. To Hekske and Falke’s surprise, Mriya greeted them with 3 kisses on the cheek, and wished them a happy Easter. She proudly showed them her easter basket, which was made from willow branches and covered with a white towel, which was beautifully embroidered in yellow and blue patterns. Mriya explained that this towel was made by her great-grandmother over 100 years ago. She explained that she was expecting visitors from all over Ukraine. Soon afterwards, another witch arrived and they all welcomed her with 3 kisses on her cheek. Her name was Vesna and she came from the woods around Mount Hoverla in the west. She had brought some small bottles with colorful dyes : violet from the bark of an elderberry bush, yellow from the flowers of the woadwaxen, gold from onion skins, etc..
Soon afterwards, another witch arrived from the east. She had flown all the way from the scenic valley of the Oskil river.  A little later, another witch flew in from the north but after that it was a long wait for the witch of the South. Finally, a young witch flew by and gently landed on the fairy meadow. She had come all the way from the Valley of Ghosts. And she was not alone as she was accompanied by a sweet-looking animal. The witches were elated when they realized this was the raccoon which was stolen from this area some 1,5 years ago. The lively animal was very happy to be back home again, and soon the raccoon was frolicking with all the witches, and rolling over from joy.
Now that all witches had arrived, Mriya put some eggs on the table while Vesna opened the bottles with the colorful dyes. The local witches knew exactly what to do, applying hot wax on the eggs before scrathing and dying them in elaborate colorful patterns. Many of these patterns had been passed on from witch to witch for centuries. These decorated eggs were called ‘pysanky’.
Vidma, the witch from the northern plains had another method to decorate the eggs, which she did by coating eggs with bee wax and covering them with beads in vivid colorful patterns. This kind of easter eggs were called ‘biserky’.
Hekske and Falke truly enjoyed the typically Slavic cosy atmosphere of the Easter celebrations. And after nightfall, they lit a bonfire, sang spellbinding age-old witch’s songs and they performed folk dances around the fire until well past midnight. 
This was easily the cosiest Easter Hekske and Falke had ever experienced…

Heute ist ein guter Tag zum Tanzen ♥

Dualism all night long. 

Schon ein Weilchen her, als wir das letzte Mal therapierten.. unsere Geschichte erzählten..
Wir haben es denn auch nicht vergessen, wie‘s geht ♥

Irgendwie hat es die Zeit sowohl die Sterne so gewollt, das wir etwas Pause einlegen..
Wir haben den Break dann auch benötigt.. denn wir konnten unter anderem ganz gut inne halten.. ebenfalls sehr tief durchatmen.. und wir haben reflektiert wie auch analysiert.. 
In der jetzigen Zeit umso wichtiger und vielleicht nicht unbedingt das was man sich vom schönen.. unbeschwerten Leben erhofft.. aber das ist ganz okee.. es soll ja nicht einfach sein ♥

So sei es denn.. das wir sozusagen ganz frisch und unvoreingenommen wieder an den Start zurück kehren.. und unsere Geschichte weitererzählen.. hoffentlich mit dir.. denn es gibt viel zu tun.. wir sind noch lange nicht fertig..  Der Weg ist steinig und lang.. aber das ist ganz okee.. es soll ja nicht einfach sein ♥

For REC008, we have the honour of showcasing an exciting artist from Switzerland: Manuel Moreno. Manuel has been active in the scene for many years, with releases on labels such as Ritter Butzke, Amaeo, Hive Audio and Kamai Music. In addition to being an active resident at Hive for over ten years, he is well-known for creating iconic brands such as his event series 'Au Revoir' and co-owning the agency 'Send Return'.

His two-track EP 'Elysian' highlights his diverse range of sounds. The title track impresses with a steady groove, captivating chord stabs, and layered synths that demand attention — the perfect closing track for any set. 'Swedenborg', on the other hand, reveals his darker side. A hypnotic, rumbling foundation is elevated by the magnificent voice of Natasha Waters, resulting in a track that will shake dance floors.

To round out the release, two exciting producers join the Reconsider roster. For the main track, Predex, a promising producer from Istanbul, gives 'Elysian' a melodic yet groovy touch. 'Swedenborg' is reinterpreted by none other than James Harcourt, who transforms it into a dark, tribal dancefloor belter with his signature progressive sound.

Alma ∞ Omega is the co-founder of the Berlin-based dance-gathering @Lucid and has been passionately opening portals of magic with music-dance-community since she started Djing in 2004. Alma weaves golden strands of consciousness-meets-playfulness, creating alchemical spaces of transformation, celebration, healing and releasing. She is an avid believer in the power of dance and music to elevate & connect the spirit of humanity: allowing us to get back to the basics, our roots, our hips, our hearts, our oneness ...there is no dogma on the dance floor... just a dream within a dream within a dream we dream together: a dream we are learning to navigate as we collectively awake. 

Our dear friend and amazing artist Radka Tiarksova is providing us another time a stunningly beautiful piece of visionary art of Radka Soulart for our beloved cover art-podcast-ensemble. We're more than thankful and happy to have this special collaboration and to have the possibility to share with all of you her unique art which is as lively, colorful & profound as the life we call reality.
