Our newest story comes from Augenstein, a very talented producer and DJ from Halle Germany. He has caught our attention with his latest EP on renowned label Random Collective wich came out early this year. His music is a mixture of spacey, downpitched sounds, melodic and organic ingridients, all held together with deep and seductive basslines. Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Podcast Series!

On this month's edition, we welcome Überhaupt & Außerdem.

Überhaupt & Außerdem: Philipp and Andreas, twin brothers from other mothers - born on the same day in the same year, share the same shoe size.  They initially bumped heads in the city of Tübingen as band members and promoters in the creative scene. Soon, they joined their longtime shared passion for electronic music and DJ'ing, which quickly morphed into first independent productions. 

During the time of the Covid-19 pandemic they fully immersed into their creative work. Their sound might be perceived as downtempo with substantial attention to detail and complexity. It is sustained by an emotional touching spectrum of fluffy warmth to gloomy drive that never lacks attitude. 

Later this year, you can expect more remixes, releases and podcasts among other content through Deep&Smooth, Katahaifisch, WAYU, Baikal Nomads and a spectacular EP on my label with remixes from Benøir & Mcfly MX

Carolina Mond aka. MØND es integrante de dos colectivos mexicanos: Womxn y Ruter Ltd. ambos en pro de la música electrónica en México. Activa en la industria musical desde temprana edad, ha participado en numerosos proyectos prestando su voz y co-produciendo todo tipo de música. En 2012 emigra a Berlin donde termina sus estudios para después adentrarse en el mundo de la música electrónica y el Club Culture. A partir de 2018 nace el proyecto MØND en donde intenta no encasillarse en un solo género sino busca su integración de manera orgánica para crear atmósferas y transportarnos hacia nuestro mundo interior, siempre de la mano de la música. Para ella es importante seguir explorando todos aquellos nuevos ritmos, expresiones musicales y sus fusiones, para así entender que como todo la música también está en constante evolución.
