this was an incredibly fun collab! Stardew knows how to make all the chord stacks and intense mastering stuff and like when they sent me back the flp with their part on it the colors were puke-inducing it was great

anyway this is a 36-hour journey of an aeriel nomad travelling the skies on a lavender air balloon. it's got the ABA structure to it but we just had a ton of ideas so that's why it's 8 minutes :P hope you like it! also follow Stardew, they're gonna go places

i've been making music for around 4 months now, and i gotta say, every second of it has been an amazing experience. i've improved so much, and i've met so many talented and wonderful people through Chips Compo (a community that hosts music-related contests) and other platforms. thanks a ton to Onefin for giving me the opportunity to work with him, and for being an overall splendid human being :^)

By Day, By Night

A sort of house song.

Going for progressive, as is probably usual by now, I guess.

There's a particular portion that's layered and pretty dense with sound toward the middle where everything sort of comes together that I like, though the rest is fairly fun as well.

However the second half of the song takes a little bit of a thematic detour, and I don't return to the first motif, veering away from my standard ABA formula.

"By Day, By Night (VIP)" is track two of the Sky Wander EP, an electronic-orchestral story-based album conveying the journey of an ether explorer through the clouds.

Serving as a narrative synecdoche of Sky Wander, "By Day, By Night (VIP)" shifts the album into its first distinct well of turmoil. Throughout its seven minute span, our protagonist conquers the looming self doubt permeating his venture's beginnings, and eventually learns to embrace its adrenaline-fueled allure as he soars through the wind-battered sky.
