I am very delighted to this collaboration with VagueWanderer. "Frame" is actually Manca and Alessandro' s idea (music and poetry) and i added to the music.

One Glance

in
From a large, old quartz crystal
Grown up in a cavity in the depths
Under a lot of pressure, 
Temperature and mineral supply,
32D3, trigonal and trapezoidal,
Perfectly cut spherical 
Two hands it takes to hold the orb

Think of a great dark hall
And in front of a candle this ball
And you look, watch and see
But you cannot find 
A fixed point

The glimpse wanders 
From the surface into the depths
Inside the light is refracting in its rays
And splits further along 
Structural network faults

Glaring into the crystal ball
Risking a look into the crystal ball
And can`t see nothing at all
Nothing at all

So many things that obscure and disguise 
Imagining can be such great surprise

Unforeseen the past stands tall
And the line gets small 
Between „i don’t recall“ and
„I can’t remember at all“

But what’s wrong with the future?
Every picture dissolves into fumes
Or is it because it seems to be, 
That the quartz is rather smoky than rosy ?

Meant that i had seen you somewhere smile
