Dear listener,

My name is Yannick Merkus and I'm a 18 year-old producer from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
I am fascinated by a lot of genres, but the genre I am focussing on is Electronic dance!

When I was 11 years old I started making music and now I have two artist names: DJ MY & Merbacio. The name ‘DJ MY’ comes from Merkus Yannick.

My inspiration comes from multiple artist, like: Martin Garrix, Coldplay, Avicii, Michael Jackson, KAYTRANADA and much more artists! 

I have taken some lessons at the DJ School Amsterdam to further improve my producer skills and now I am studying Music Production, Music Business and a DJ-cours at the Master The Mix Academy in Hilversum. 
The reason why I make music, is that I want to inspire other people and give them the feeling I had when I was making the song.

In 2020 I published my first song with Chiara Merkus named: All I Want.
New singles and collaborations will follow soon, so have a follow ;)

I am also known as Merbacio , which is my classical profile. I published my first song with the best pianist; Franco Robert called Malattia D'amore.
