Faruk Mansour, known as Odd concept aka Maalek is a Techno/Minimal producer from Bielefeld in Germany. 

Faruk was born in 1999, his passion for music came at the age of 7 when he started to play the Piano. At the age of 10 he also started to play the guitar. 
Since then music became an essential part of his life. The discovery of electronic music lead to his first release in 2013 under the alias “Zealous”. In 2014, he changed his alias from "Zealous" to "KlangFest".

Remix's for Tracks like "California Dreamin" (which was in the top 5 charts on Artistunion) or his remix for Olly Murs & Demi Lovato's track "Up" hit more than 30k views. (WO?)

In 2016, he started working as an A&R & Facebook Manager for "Tipsy Records" and in 2017, also as a Social Media Manager for "Deeper Beat".

After 3 years with the alias "KlangFest", Faruk changed to Maalek and Odd Concept. While Odd Concept focuses more on Techno, Minimal and mainly underground music style, tracks produced under the alias of Maalek belong to the Deep House genre.

In 2017 Odd Concept released his first song “Second State” on "Hungry Koala Records". 



I find it simply impressively how music can reach people, it is no factor of vital importance, still, everybody needs it.
