Kobold es un equipo / promotor de techno con base en el sur de Buenos Aires que existe desde hace ya unos 5 años. Con una base sólida han decidido crear Kobold Records con el propósito de dar un salto de calidad aportando y plasmando nuestras producciones propias como también las de artistas vinculados al ciclo / equipo, ya sean nacionales o internacionales.

El primer lanzamiento del sello es un recopilatorio de Varios Artistas llamado 'Dark Forest' en el que se incluyen temas de Esteban Miranda, Parde Grilon, Rame.Col y Rhombic. Todos grandes y sólidos productores que están haciendo ruido en la escena underground.

Sweden’s Parabel label returns with another EP from one of their regulars and star artist Patrick Siech.

Having his tracks released on Richie Hawtin’s Minus and Adam Beyer’s Drumcode LTD which is the limited vinyl series, Patrick is a producer who always delivers interesting ideas and keeps his works floor ready with an educated, contemporary style.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the track called “Wetwired” with its sci-fi tones. The stuttering sub bass and delayed, acid ripples create a tense yet smooth and flowing feel, while the haunting, metallic drones add another layer of captivating atmosphere to this sonic adventure.

On Saturday,  April 2, 2022 REFORM will be taking over Catch One’s bustling bi-level venue with a 4-room House + Techno lineup. Located on Pico Avenue near Downtown Los Angeles, Catch One originally opened in 1973 and was the longest-running black gay dance bar in the city. It now serves as one of LA’s premiere multi-purpose venues, making it an ideal space for REFORM to host 20+ Techno, House, and Experimental artists across four rooms.

Dj and producer from Los Angeles, California, Force Placement is a resident DJ and founding member of The Black Lodge, an L.A. based event collective and record label that has been pushing mutant strains of underground dance music to the masses since 2015. Known for his versatility as a DJ and live PA artist, Jason’s performances run the gamut from soulful and cerebral house music to mind-bending acid techno.

The Road to REFORM 2022 Mix Series: Force Placement

I felt deeply inspired creating this mix for Refuge Worldwide with the chance to showcase the work of talented female artists, including members of the female:pressure community. 

I took a new, rather personal approach for the first time here; playing my own vocal samples live over the mix as a way to merge bits of my dormant songwriting with my set.

Following three Eps and one LP Fabrizio Rat releases his second solo album on Odd/Even, German label by Andre Kronert. The album is conceived entirely for the dancefloor, with no rest and no breathe, no ambient or >quiet< tracks. Melodies emerge at times, resulting from original orchestrations of piano and machines. At other times more violent and static textures explore the extreme repetitions of piano harmonics, combined with slowly evolving filter-sweeping hypnosis.
