Fresh off the back of a recent Boiler Room set, Ben aka Means&amp;3rd was asked to whip up an Exclusive for Death Techno. Based in Manchester, he works at the legendary vinyl establishment Eastern Bloc Records that will soon be celebrating 30 years of business in 2015. To add to this last year he secured residency at Bohemian Grove events held at Islington Mill, Salford. The synergy that we share with the output of Michael Mayer's Kompakt imprint is something that should never be questioned. He's been part of our programming for as long as we can remember and the label's wax output is a staple of most of our visitors’ DJ bags. Last year in fact they just celebrated 20 years in operation, which is no mean feat and most likely down to Mayer’s ongoing day to day commitment to the label and persistent discovery of new talents. With his annual Room One outing scheduled for the weekend ahead we got an opportunity to catch up what's new for 2014 and how sometimes being an in demand remixer as well as A&R takes its toll on his own personal studio time. Mayer has also provided us with a mix to outlay what we can look forward to in the dark hours of the weekend ahead right here in Farringdon.

Ahoi ihr Tiefseetaucher!
Naaah....mal wieder was aus der Konserve durchs Ohr gehen lassen ? Aber nicht mit uns! Natürlich habe ich mal wieder nen kleines Schmankerl für euch um die Sonne auf dem Schiffsdeck so richtig zu genießen. 
Unsere neue Kombüsenliebe - Aemsel & Krepel haben wieder mal einen wilden Mix im Einklang von Pulverfass und Kanonenschlag gezaubert. Der Sechspfünder ist bis oben hin vollgestopft mit Mustergetränkten Tönen, welche sich weit aufs Meer hinaus tragen lassen.  
Quark. Kleines Späßchen.
Denn hier geht es eher um die seichten Gewässer, wohl eher ein leichtes Tuckern könnte man meinen. Eine Mischung zwischen Popeys Spinatkutter und Captain Nemos Unterseeboot.  
Aber überzeugt euch selbst und haltet euer Ohr ans Dosentelefon. Man kanns einfach nicht besser beschreiben was wir da wieder am Haken haben.
