Recording of the opera was cancelled because of the selling of that EMU II by its owner (I just had borrowed it). I never saw a more disrupted -but still working- keyboard before.

The Odd Pop Group and Board was started to attempt to foster a community around folk who like to write "odd little pop songs". There are Dance Music forums, Experimental Forums, Dubstep Forums, IDM forums, Metal Forums, Hip-Hop Forums, Mash-Up forums, Improvised Jazz forums, Indie Forums.. but I've never really run across a forum for folk who write "Pop Songs" - succinct, short little structured pop songs...
Somewhere for those of us more obsessed with 3 minute perfection than some drawn out prog dance epic.
If acquaintances always seem to ask 'What sort of Music do you write?" and the only thing you can say is "Oh you know funny little Pop songs... " then perhaps this is the forum for you.
