Straight back in after their almighty remix on Kid Only's Remixes EP we welcome Ian Jay &amp; Matt Williams! It's a pleasure for us to push the lads first EP, and trust us it's a big one! Stamping out 2 original tracks that fuse that light feel good house breakdown with an absolutely booting tech house core. These lads are producers we have labeled 'ones to watch' and it's no real surprise why! We've been sitting on these for some time now and we've brought in some real heavy remixes to top it off!

Apollo 84 is someone we've been following a while now and Konflicted Soul is one of the freshest new artists to hit the scene, really getting his name on lips at the moment. It was a no brainer for us to link up with these guys when they said they were interested in being part of the ever growing Criminal Hype family. These lads give the release that next level for when energies really move up a gear. Heavy, rolling tech vibes that just shake you!

Greco is one of the U.S's best new house producers without a shadow of a doubt! After tearing it up on our sister label Ranura with his 'Hart Plaza' we couldn't wait to work with him again (before his forthcoming EP). He brings a no nonsense bass attack on his re work. Deep, moving raw bass that drops in after a real quirky teasing build! Prefect peak time stuff!

Fresh talent from The Netherlands is making their debut on Chief Recordings. The Utrecht based duo House Soldiers teamed up with Noah Petersen for a wicked EP. Their collaboration resulted in three cool original tracks. On the flipside we have a heavy remix by Lee Jeffrey.
The first track is called “It’s Yours”, a solid tech house tune with a sweet groove. The track is completed with classic synth stabs and vocal shots.
Chief invited the UK based producer Lee Jeffrey to remix the track “It’s Yours”, and he delivered an heavy sub-based groovy version.
Third track on the list is called “Delusive”. This track has an addictive synth melody, a stomping groove and some powerful vocal effects. Final track on the EP is called “The Record” which has a funky bassline and a wicked rhythm section.

Premiere: Teoss - Excelsior (Slin Bourgh Remix)[Oscuro]

After collaborating with Subjected for his debut release in 2018, Andrejko now lands on the German's other acclaimed hard techno label, @vault-series, with a thrilling three-track solo EP.  

Andrejko is part of the Berlin new breed becoming renowned for his dark and uncompromising closing sets at the legendary Stattbad on Sunday mornings and has gone on to get bookings further afield as a result. Both as a DJ and producer, his stripped-down, hyperdriven sound is perfectly abrasive yet comes with exactly the right amount of detail to make it irresistibly hypnotic and escapist. 

Opener 'Eating' is bleak, futurist, Terminator techno with unrelenting drums that hit hard each and every time. Subtle rising synths add to the tension while rugged loops keep you locked to the floor. The excellent 'From' is less harsh and hard but just as perfectly distilled, with warmer rubber kicks rolling forwards at a real pace as eerie synth motifs survey a dystopian urban landscape. Closer 'Knives' shows another side again to this innovative artist as it pairs sci-fi pads with supple techno rhythms. Taking you on a trip to the outer edges of our galaxy, it has a rising sense of tension that is utterly enthralling.
