It's the Fourth ("IV") because this song has seen many permutations, and I've raided this pattern for bits of other tracks — like "Hope" on my last album. But it finally gets its due. I think it's about love or need or infatuation. Maybe even fear and admiration, but like, in a lightweight way.

This one was written for and to my cousin, Walter Smith who passed away Tuesday March 7th 2023. He was very encouraging when I was a child and one of the smartest people I've known.

Hey Guys!
 
Norway, Lofoten isles.

 

Been a rookie for about 20 years.

Making music is primerly a creative exercise for me, and something I like to do for recreational purposes,.

 

Hovewer I love the fact that anyone can take a guitar, their daw or whatever, even just pen and paper, and come up with something special and unike, that has never been heard or written before.

 

This opportunity - for famous artists and guys like me, in equal terms - to enter a universe and go places no one has set their foot before, Is almost like magic, and is, together with mountain hiking, vital fo my general wellbeing.

My drugs of choise, gets me high without any uwanted side effects. 

Kind of how I picture cocaine from God would be, did it exist

 

Anyway, a parallell to soccer; Im a non-leauge player, and would not look good playing in the Premier Leauge, but there can still be some entertainment value, given the right circumstances and expectations.
