Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

And so we started out into the night, down towards the waterfront where there was the sound of music and shouts and drunken oaths, he was talking quietly all the while about this and that, about a girl he had fallen in love with. From that he switched back to the Baron de Charlus and then to Kurtz who had gone up the river and got lost. His favorite theme. I liked the way he moved against this background of literature continuously; it was like a millionaire who never stepped out of his Rolls Royce. There was no intermediate realm for him between reality and ideas. When we entered the whorehouse on the Quai Voltaire, after he had flung himself on the divan and rung for girls and for drinks, he was still paddling up the river with Kurtz, and only when the girls had flopped on the bed beside him and stuffed his mouth with kisses did he cease his divagations. Ka:lu escaped from the empty land with his Arp and took the nowhere’s road. This is his second offering for Shango Records. These tracks can teach you how to give beauty to the people. Kaöb, DIBIDABO, AmuAmu, Chomba and Zuma Dionys are giving love and beauty and warm feelings in their own unique way.

An outstanding four-tracker earns Dosem a second Truesoul release in 2019.

It hasn’t taken long for Dosem to follow-up his ‘Energy Source’ EP, the two-track work that marked his label debut in May. Sliding effortlessly between house and techno, the Spaniard’s productions are imbued with bags of groove and heart, making him a perfect fit for Truesoul.

His ‘Evidence EP’ is testament to his studio prowess. The title track is a skilfully executed arrangement, as sliding bass effects combine with deep tech rhythms for a snake-hipped finish. ‘Badgood’ is streamlined and efficient, a useful tool in building shape and character. ‘Instead’ is built around a foundation of snares, hallucinatory vocal effects and bullish bass, yet still retains a wonderfully deep after-hours vibe. ‘Restart This’ is a smart percussive roller, perky enough to make a dancefloor fizz, while still retaining Dosem’s trademark smooth melodic core.
