It’s still disbelievable that a talent like EatSleep lurks about Soundcloud and there’s no consensus agreement that that talent is really one of the most incandescent in electronic music. They’ve put out a handful tracks over the last couple years - and each should be treated as an event. January’s Through Frightened Eyes is one of the more startling tunes you’ll hear in a minute, weaving a magical Slint sample through noise and the throb of dancefloor ecstasy, voicing in four and a half minutes more than any language could reach of the expanse of unpronounceable feeling this music can articulate. The double-track In The Hope/It Hears Me found them on the same tack, placing disembodied ethereality alongside relentless drums and the luminescent, recontextualised sonics of hyperpop & Miami bass.

An uncompromisingly original amalgam of skram-gabber, harsh-tek and post-club, EatSleep’s mix typifies the poles their music is often shifting between. There is the assaultive noise and giddy breaks into the bounce of EDM and trap, which shift into ambience and trails of voice so intimately addressed to the listener’s it’s hard to be unconvinced their message isn’t of angelic importance. Every few minutes in an EatSleep mix can feel like planetary collision - like every trembling melancholy and every doubt-ridden observation gone unsaid is distilled into a tectonic rupture translating the momentary elan of half-remembered lights and sweaty nihil, delivered out of club music’s volatile tongue.

I can’t remember the last time I came across an artist who could so preternaturally counterpose the most posthuman endpoints of noise with a euphoria that unflinchingly remains in the world. If sublimity is taken as the superabundant experience of that we can barely comprehend, EatSleep might be the rare producer who could legitimately be called sublime. Consistently unfathomable yet earnest in their radicality of feeling, this mix is simply an addition to the oeuvre of a producer whose essentiality we need soon recognize.

Kuboraum is pleased to present the latest chapter of the Digital Sound Residency with 'Fluffy' by Mun Sing, the alias of Bristol-based producer, songwriter, visual artist and DJ, Harry Wright.

Mun Sing has carved out a reputation for exhilarating live performances and theatrical, complex club productions where irony, skewed rhythms and warped vocals collide into unpredictable sonic landscapes. After his acclaimed debut album 'Inflatable Gravestone' (Planet Mu, 2023), hailed by critics and listed among Resident Advisor’s best albums of the year, and his recent chaotic dancefloor EP 'Frolic' (Illegal Data, 2025), Fluffy offers a condensed yet powerful immersion into his most eccentric and vulnerable language.

In 'Fluffy', lightness and dissonance coexist: playful, camp gestures dissolve into fractured, distorted bursts, turning the very notion of “softness” into a sonic experience of excess, fragility, and confrontation.
A short preview video accompanies the release, offering a glimpse into Mun Sing’s visual universe - saturated, surreal, and deliberately unstable - expanding the ways in which the piece can be perceived.

Arriving on @planetmurecords with debut 12-tracker 'InitiatriX', Manchester-based producer Ship Sket (@hdmurder) pays homage to UK styles like dubstep, grime, drill and rap, but on an emotional level, it’s about spirituality, fetish, and latent darkness hidden by outward appearances.

“I like happy accidents, messing around and resampling, and kind of seeing how far I can push stuff before it disintegrates in front of me," Ship Sket says. "I’ve heard my tunes on a club system and gone, 'wow that mix sounds bad', but the tune is still popping. My approach is a lot more stylistic than it is technical."

APEAK is a Finnish experimental electronic producer and one half of noise project Hollowland. Working with field recordings, found media, and industrial sounds, APEAK crafts soundscapes and electronic symphonies that excavate memories, faces, and emotions from urban sites. Their work accentuates the delicate and harsh nature of these sounds within context, holding fragility and abrasion in one body. They are a member of Helsinki-based record label Changeless and have previously collaborated with artists such as Exploited Body and Varg2tm. 
For this mix, APEAK draws on textures, grit and emotions, referencing their own work (including unreleased tracks from their forthcoming project) and their inspirations to create a diverse and turbulent soundscape fragmenting into melancholy.

Conceived as part of an A/V show with visual artist Nicolò Cervello, ‘Kitbashing’ marks ABADIR’s third album for SVBKVLT.

A growing number of people spend an extensive amount of time watching, scrolling, liking, commenting on and sharing content, whilst at the same time feeding a constant stream of personal data to social media platforms. Social media can be fun and informative, or draining and dark. Either way, their algorithms are purposefully designed to lock users in a continuous state of scrolling. The more time spent online, the more desires, interests and emotions are fed into the algorithm for consumerist ends and reality is reduced to a timeline of curated aesthetics.

Using audio snippets from reels, suggested posts, and sponsored ads, sound objects are cut, micro-edited and meshed together into a collage. Tension is built gradually before falling into a release. Rhythms keep expanding and contracting, simulating the pace of random scrolling on mobile devices. ‘Kitbashing’ is an attempt to break the algorithm: subverting the dynamics by feeding on the algorithm instead of only feeding it.
