Songs written by Daniel Sahad, aka Nané, while in his secret make-shift in-closet home-studio as a pre-med student in college. Before anyone had heard him sing. Before he knew he was going to be a producer. Before he saw any bit of the whole picture that was to come. This is the beginning of his pain staking self-discovery. He was 18 years old and believed in fate and the lord and Kentucky women. 

I share this to provide inspiration to the those of us who are still in their closet-studio in fear of sharing and falling.  Fall hard and fall publicly. Humanity supports the dreamers. Also the world doesn't care if you win or lose, but damnit you sure do so you better play at the least.

The Black Cadillacs are a blues-based indie rock band from Knoxville, TN. With members from each of Tennessee's major cities, the state's famous sounds are well represented. Nashville’s recent brand of rock 'n' roll revival, Memphis' soul, and Knoxville's roots music combine to form an authentic and original sound. First cousins, Will Horton and Matthew Hyrka, founded the band with lifelong friend and neighbor, Philip Anderson. In 2009 the lineup was completed with the additions of John Phillips and Adam Bonomo. The Black Cadillacs have a sound all to their own with diverse influences such as The Rolling Stones, The Who, Queens Of The Stone Age, and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Glide Magazine recently featured their new Summer Single, Radio Silence, https://soundcloud.com/theblackcadillacs/radio-silence. American Songwriter calls it, “A great new discovery!”

Their live set is where this well-orchestrated yet explosive blend comes to life. “Amazing energy from beginning to end,” says Consequence of Sound. Paste Magazine agrees by calling them, “[One of] the top 10 Great New Bands that played CMJ” and “20 Artists to Know at Bonnaroo”. The Black Cadillacs are hitting their stride playing over 100 US shows, a 25 date European tour, and 20 plus numerous major media synchs this past year. They recently spent time in Nashville recording a 7-inch Vinyl at Grammy Award winning recording studio Sputnik Sound, and are currently preparing songs for their highly anticipated 3rd album. Relix Magazine anointed the group their “Summer Stars” honor and featured them on the cover of their publication. The band is proud to boast performances at Bonnaroo, Hangout, Bunbury, Wakarusa, Summer Camp, Summerfest, and many more.

The smell of cold earth drying on leather boots. Driving old cars fast down deserted mountain roads. Storm clouds and brittle sunbeams. This is the essence of KITARI, an NYC based alternative rock band comprised of three childhood friends raised in the Catskill Mountains. A blend of Tame Impala’s neo-psychedelia, Jack White’s searing guitar and the cosmos-infused alt-rock of Incubus, the high-energy power trio combine dark, infectious melodies with epic, driving, space rock.

KITARI has rocked such well-known NYC stages as the Mercury Lounge, Arlene’s Grocery, Bar Matchless, the Shrine and Bowery Electric. They’ve also received airplay on Radio Woodstock and have been featured in Pancakes and Whiskey. 
What’s next for the band? On January 19th, 2018, Kitari will release a five song EP entitled “The Breath of Empty Space.” The album will feature a reworked version of one of Kitari’s most popular songs, “The Scarecrow & the Manor,” as well as four other songs that run the gamut from ambient to asteroid-pummeling rock. Following the release, the band will embark on a tour of the U.S. in March, culminating in an appearance at SXSW.
