Italian producer Temperat is back on Somatic with his two track EP Confines.

The first track 'Confines 'sets the tone for the release with a hypnotic melodic techno number creating melodies full of tension from the word go, as the atmospheric vibe subtly keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces

'Glow' showcases Temperat's spectrum in the studio as this controlled gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication.

On remix duties heavy hitters Lumme & Miguel Lautaro are back on Somatic with a powerful edit designed for the clubs. Their remix of Confines' is more bass heavy as it powers along, before its drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. We also welcome Sasha Carassi to the label with the master on this!

Also on remix duties we welcome back Blank Pattern providing a more progressive touch to 'Confines' - containing lucid elements, the luscious pads grace the rework changing the vibe and creating a blanket of warmth that wraps around the effected groove.

ODTD041 sees Recode return to Øddity after giving an insight into his sound on Odd Echoes Volume 4 alongside key release for NOTTURNA. Now Recode delves deeper into his analogue world across three stunning tracks.

Leading the way is ‘Remind Us’ which sets a strong groove from the start to immediately seize your attention. Beautiful soothing chords enter, leading to a captivating breakdown guaranteed to unite the
dance-floor as the crowd waits for the bass to kick back in. Recode chooses to tease, cranking up the intensity. Then after a pause, ‘Remind Us’ hits a whole new level while avoiding being formulaic. Melodic techno sounds that are fresh, vibrant and new.

‘Different Instants’ takes a contrasting modal approach to give DJs yet another option in their Rekordbox. The jagged arp attack makes this perfect for any situation, while warm keys underpin the mid-section with an elegance reflecting Recode’s years of piano training.

Not to be overshadowed ‘Collisione Imminente’ closes the EP on a high to really emphasize what Recode is all about musically. His composition and arrangement show great taste, allowing the rich melodies to shine. Sonic embellishments add tension to keep the club on edge, ready to erupt and fill the air with emotion.

This EP places Recode firmly on everyones radar and is a great way to conclude another exciting year for Øddity.
