This sad and devastating local story has been on my mind for a long time.... I'm reminded about this tragedy nearly everyday as I run along the Mississippi Blvd and see the memorial.

Like the short lyrics' meaning "love has no hurry", music makes contrasts on rhythms and textures even inside each part: Main theme starts with fast drums on slow melodies & has a DANCEABLE? 2nd part with lead bass guitar; Central theme makes fast tracks become slow to the left channel and vice-versa, progressing to a POST-ROCK? atmosphere. Meanwhile, two lead guitars and echoing voices complete the contrasting piece. I hope to get your feedback !!!

We're back again with another installment in the ongoing SoundCloud collaborative concept album, 'Land of the ZED' !!

Stonerjazz, Uziel, and I developed this idea for a fantastical psychedelic concept album last Spring. We were joined by Francesca/Zed during our last episode (Johnny Sings the Blues) and all 4 of us came together again on this one.

Smoke & Feathers: Siren Song of ZED (#7) - with Uziel, Stonerjazz, and Zed

I made this for my little sister; it's a string of cameos about the town where we were born and raised - a suburb of Newcastle Upon Tyne.  Low income, but real world, real people, real troubles, real joy, real love, real communities, real humour, real music, real life.  All in gloriously rough 1960's industrial working class North East England monochrome.

For those of you not from that part of the world, lyric translations back to English are available upon request. :)

Started as a scribble, pretended to be a poem for a while, then I decided to noodle along and then.....  Ah, you know how it is.....in Byker town.

We decided to make a song after he commented on the artwork for another one of my tracks (Metaplasticity) where he said it looked like a 'chewing gum sea'. I suggested it was a great song name so went for it. I am super happy with the results, hope you'll enjoy it too!

Dear friends, I have been so lucky to work with jazz songs from the 40-50s with Aleck Rand. He has sent me files, and now a file one step further in my jazz school, my attempt to learn scat :))) Sending you "Love Letters" ,  to wish you a really good autumn weekend. I still sing a little here on soundcloud, and I listen to music here and enjoy it. Very nice music is made here, I will probably never stop listening. So many nice, kind and gifted people here.
