Absolutely exquisite!! This is my favourite hymn and you have both done such  fabulous job on this!!!!

Beautiful voice and beautiful melody, very sweet and conveys a peace that reaches the soul.

I love this track!!! It gently whispers the ancient story of Christmas, intertwining the tender piano melody with the celestial voices of Debra and Oddrun. Their performance fills the air with a quiet melancholy, like snow falling softly, layer upon layer, in the cold and frosty winter.

The piano, with its soft and enveloping notes, mirrors the hardness of the frozen earth and the fragility of water crystallized into stone. Each chord is a brushstroke on the canvas of a silent and still winter landscape, where the icy wind echoes a distant time when the world awaited in trembling hope.

The voices of Debra and Oddrun, like angels singing in the stillness of the night, recount the humility of a manger that welcomed the Almighty, the Lord whom neither heaven nor earth could contain. And in this bleak midwinter, love finds its simplest and purest expression: the gift of a heart, offered in all its poverty, yet rich in devotion. 😍😍😍 thank you for this masterpiece

At this dark time in humanity it is our sincere hope that you will reflect upon these verses with us and ponder the hope and true meaning of Christmas.

When the full moon gives its light to the night, the meadows, lakes, mountains, valleys and forests shine in a magical night shimmer.

I tried to express this spherical and poetic mood in this composition.

Oddrun Eikli is the singer in Loops and Bridges. A project headed by Oddrun Eikli and Arne Hiorth. Oddrun Eikli sings, composes the melodies and writes the lyrics , Arne Hiorth does the arranging trumpet work and studio engineering.
