Born in Puglia, also known as the heel of Italy's boot, Giorgia is a composer and multi-instrumentalist. She is part of the project We love on Bpitch Control Records and she has been resident performer at Tenax Club 1.0 in Florence for 2 years. 
After a classical music education Giorgia developed in a short time a deep interest in the electronic music and she started experimenting new live techniques. From the very first project Metùo she aimed to create a multi-sensorial performance mixing sounds, images and scents. She never stopped looking intensely for the interaction with her public. 
In the year 2010 with her audio visual project We Love she concluded an exclusivity agreement with the label Bpitch Control performing in many clubs internationally. 
In 2013 she started her residency at Tenax club (Florence, ITALY). This experience gave her the chance to test a new style, creating always different live acts and having the opportunity of constantly improvising on stage. I come from a small town in the countryside of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Where I come from there was no electronic music at all , so when I started DJing, if I wanted to listen to it I had to travel for 3 hours to Sao Paulo but even then I couldn’t get into the clubs as I was only 14 years old.
It feels absolutely SURREAL that I’m now writing this post to tell you my Essential Mix is coming this Saturday on @bbcradio1 at 1AM (Friday night) ! The Essential Mix for me was always a way to learn about new music and find inspirations from the best in electronic music. 
It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, you can achieve anything you want in life, you are the only one who can set limits for yourself. Follow your dreams and do everything with LOVE. 🙏🏼❤️
For my Essential Mix I've chosen tracks from artists who inspired me since I've been playing for these almost 20 years, also some of my own tracks that had a big impact in my career and some unreleased stuff from myself as well! I really hope you enjoy the journey

Oberst&Buchner sind zwei Freunde aus Wien und Berlin. Ihre unzähligen, hochenergetischen DJ-Sets haben die beiden über verschiedenste Clubs und Festivals in ganz Europa zu einem dynamischen Duo bekannt gemacht. 

In ihren Produktionen zaubern die beiden Freunde Klanglandschaften, die extrem dicht und gleichzeitig unendlich offen und weitläufig sind. Ähnliches könnt ihr auch in diesem, vor Energie nur so strahlenden, Mix entdecken.
