Already 10?“ – „Yes dear, already 10.“ For this special opportunity to end the first chapter of our so/slow:salads-series, we are very glad and thankful that ph3.3 (@phthreepointthree) took her time and put her passion in this work and prepare such a masterpiece for us. Thank you so much Noelia! 

ph3.3 choosed the key word EXISTENCE for this set. She ask herself: „Not that I have expactations but  ... is  this it?“

Then she continues: „I would like to confess that sometimes I get tired of my skin and my face, how I feel, what my brain dictates ... Doesn't the same thing happen to you sometimes? Could it be that something is missing from us?

Our existence begins the moment we feel the light of the universe and we begin to occupy a space in the almost infinite reality that we call the world. We learn to walk, speak, think, cry, laugh, to love, play, to dream, and we feel plethoric discovering everything for the first time. That feeling that is shown mostly from the side of unconsciousness marks our existence. We grow and create ourselves, our skin changes, our appearance, we keep accumulating stories and piling up memories.
Between you and me, tell me, when you get up and you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you ever see the child that you were? Maybe in your inner world you can still feel that child? Or perhaps nothing of their purity and innocence exists in you anymore?

Existence escapes us the moment we decide to forget that this child existed, it escapes the moment we decide not to go looking for them and we abandon them. It escapes the moment we break the links in the chain that make up our lives. Our essence, no matter how much it evolves, needs that child to understand who we are.

If you ask me today, the key to existence is to rediscover, bring that child back and begin to see absolutely everything again but through their eyes. 

This session is made for the child who lives in me today and for all of you who allow that child to still live in you.“

Some sets gain iconic status. What Daddy did with the closing set at Hideaway in front of the Triangle, framed by Jou Ma Se Stoep in the majestic Quaggafontein was the kind of thing that garners a cult following. The man who is not constrained by genre, tempo or convention delivered something so thunderous that the howling wind only amplified the insanity that gripped the dancefloor. This recording represents some fragments of that night. 
For anyone who was in doubt - @daddyxwarbucks is most certainly not dead.
