ABOUT

Rapper Slic One is best known for the track Crook Dancin which was taken from his debut album My Mind State. My Mind State was Produced (all instruments), recorded and mixed by OD Hunte and used by EA sports for the highly successful game Fight Night Round 3, which also featured artists such as Akon, Dip Set and Obie Trice.

The clean version of Crook Dancin' has never been commercially available until now but rather has only been enjoyed from within the EA Sports Fight Night Round 3 game and other sync placements. This is the digitally remastered clean version of Crook Dancin'.

Slic One, born to Nigerian parents spent his life in between continents. He pursued his dream in the USA, Africa but got his first commercial break when Producer OD Hunte signed him to his production company and produced his debut album.

Other film placements from the original My Mind State release include "From the Start" in the Hollywood film "Farce Of The Penguins" starring Samuel L Jackson & Whoopi Goldberg and "Wake Up Call" in Ping Pong Playa.

Producer OD Hunte is also one half of the group Ten Days Till whose track "Get Them Hands Hi" is known for placements in American Pie 6, EA Sports NBA Live 07, Kardashians the Wedding, Blue Mountain State and Hey Paula.

Owen ‘OD’ Hunte is a Music Producer, songwriter, mixer and Artist formerly signed to EMI/ Sony ATV Publishing and many music Library companies in the UK and US.  OD's credits include Netflix, EA Sports, Emeli Sandé, Wretch 32, Fleur East, Leona Lewis, Unkle Jam, Natalia Druyts, Leela James, Mattafix and Ten Days Till.  

OD is currently working on his third Rap/ Hip Hop album for EMI Production Music Publishing which is due to be released in 2020 and various Hip Hop and R&B Production and Writing projects.

Aside from music, OD or Owen Hunte as he is known in the modelling world, is also a commercial model signed to several major UK commercial agencies and before the COVID-19 pandemic was enjoying a run of 5 UK national TV commercials. He is also inventor of ScreenGlu for the Panasonic GH4 and started and ran Apple iPhone app company Appnoose, which has a former number 1 free kids game in 11 countries. 

He is an Internationally published Drone photographer and CAA qualified Drone Pilot, ex-UK Brand ambassador for drone company Yuneec,  self-shooting Video Director, Producer and Editor.

Trinidadian-born OD lives in London and holds a degree in Physics with Modern Acoustics.
